How to connect Zoom to the SendMsg App

So what is Zoom?

Zoom is a cross-platform application for managing multi participants Web meeting and Webinars.

What are the differences between Web meetings and Webinars?

Zoom Web-Meeting:

An online video and sound meeting in with all participants, who are invited, can collaborate, talk and share video.

Zoom Webinar:
Call for viewing only. The call organizer shares video, audio and computer screens as he wishes and the audience/participants can only see and hear it.

How can you get started?

We have build a simple guide for you. It will help you connect the SendMsg app an zoom quickly.

Step one: creating a Zoom account

In order to connect the SendMsg app to Zoom you must open a Zoom account (If you do not have one).

It is a simple process that can be done in a matter of minutes.

Create a new Zoom account

Note: you must have a payed Zoom account to have people register for you Zoom meetings.

Step two: connecting SendMsg and Zoom

Open you SendMsg account
head into settings (1), (2), (3), note that two option are provided. For the now we will click on add user in order to connect our Zoom account to our SendMsg account.

Your browser will now open a Zoom pop up to accept the connection of your Zoom account.
After accepting the connection return to (). Select "" there you will see the Zoom account you have just added.

NOTE: Once you delete a connection between your Zoom account and the SendMsg app the data will not reaper in the SendMsg app. Your Zoom data will be saved in Zoom (Meetings and Webinar participants etc). If you reconnect Zoom to the SendMsg app only data from that point of time will be available in the SendMsg app.

Step three: creating a new Zoom Meeting

After we connect Zoom to the SendMsg app we can head to our Zoom account and create our first Zoom Meeting

Now press "Meeting" and then "Schedule New Meeting" in order to create a new Meeting.

In the next page you will be able to schedule your meeting and give it additional settings (such as registration)

You can now see that I gave my meeting a name (1) so I will be able to recognize it later. I also scheduled it for the 07/20/2020 at 11:00.
This data will also be presented at your SendMsg account after your create the meeting.
Option (3) is very important. It allows your participants to register for the Zoom meeting so their information (such as email) will be available at the SendMsg app.

Now return to our Zoom account management inside the SendMsg app. There we will see the new meeting we just created under "Meeting Management".
Press "" to view the Zoom meeting we created.

Note that past and future meeting will be presented.

In this page you will be able to view your meeting with the following details:

Number of people who registerd to your meeting	➀
Whether you want the participant's information to pass from Zoom to the SendMsg app	➁
The scheduled time of your Zoom meeting	➂
Add/ Remove from mailing list options	➃

Note that options for managing Meetings and Webinars are identical
